This is a replica of Paul Sellers’ TV Unit designed for the living room of the Sellers Home series. Although Paul set it up for the TV in his living room, it isn’t specifically suited for the average TV user, since what Paul had in mind when designing it was the storage solution. The unit features a very large drawer which can be used for anything from blankets, board games to teddies and toys. The two symmetrical, curved drawers are ideal for small items such as batteries, chargers and remote controls. The elegant curved top is also very much suited as a display stand for flower vases or other such ornamental items.
This piece is particularly unique in that, whereas the original was made in oak with cherry tambour effect panels, in this version, the wood selection is inverted so that the main body is made in cherry and the tambour panelling is oak. It also features bookmatched oak drawer fronts which compliment the oak panelling all around the main unit.

All surfaces are hand planed and scraped. Finished in button shellac, applied by hand, waxed and buffed. Note that cherry will darken over time.
